The Hydrant Sock was developed to assist LHS Inc. with providing our services safely without causing damage to the area around a hydrant.  Our manufacturer uses a durable marine material to give it long life and after many years of use by our own staff we now have a product that will provide years of service to the water industry and is being used across Ontario.  We are proud to be able to offer the hydrant sock as a tool to allow operators to do high velocity flushing or Fire Flow Testing without causing damage to public or private property.  After installing the gate valve and diffuser just slide the hydrant sock on and zip it up.  Once installed, operate the hydrant in a safe manner and you can still take pitot readings with the Hydrant Sock on the diffuser. 

The Hydrant Sock is available in three models for the Cone Diffuser, the Pollard LPD-250 and the Swivel Piezo Diffuser and is available in two different lengths; 10’ & 20’.
